Prerequisite for this guide is that Pure API is enabled on the server.

Setting up an Access Definition in Pure

First an Access Definition need to be created for the Pure API, to restrict the data that can be consumed by Altmetric. 

Go to Administrator > Pure API > Access Definition and create the following definition (Illustrated below). 

• Exclude all metric information from the API and leave the Content filters in the page to standard settings.

Setting up the API Key

Setting up an API key is done by navigating to Administrator > Pure API > User API Access and create an API key with the below settings.
