Notice of new data sub-processor
We are happy to announce that we have successfully on-boarded a second supplier for our Profile Refinement Services and will ramp up operations in the upcoming weeks and months. Elsevier has been working with Straive as a trusted vendor in the person domain for many years. Having a backup supplier in place will allow us to continue to provide refinement services with the best possible service level and timelines, even during busy periods or should issues occur.

Integrations
Updates to the Wos Journal metrics job
Two minor improvements have been made to the WoS Journal Metrics job. From now on matches will only be performed towards the primary ISSn on the journal record in Pure. This is done to prevent wrong metrics to be added to Journals. Also, as an addition to the 2 times a year we check for new journal metrics in WoS, we have introduced the option of triggering an on-demand re-harvest of metrics on all your journals. Be aware that a re-harvest can take multiple days, before all journals has been revisited. The precise number of days is indicated in the job configuration.

Updates to the CrossRef integration
The integration with CrossRef has been expanded also to include import of Pre-print articles. More information on the mapping of CrossRef publications can be found here
