Google Analytics

You can use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) in both Pure and the Pure Portal. This data is sent to the Google Analytics account you specify and is not shared with Elsevier.

 

Connect your Google Analytics account to Pure

  • Navigate to Administrator > System settings > Google analytics.
  • Enter your Google Analytics tracking ID.
  • Click Save

Connect your Google Analytics account to Pure Portal:

  • Navigate to Administrator > Pure Portal > Configuration > Google Analytics.
  • Enter your Google Analytics 4 Measurement ID into the Google Analytics Tracking ID field.
  • Click Save

This step verifies your site ownership with the Google Search Console using the Google Analytics tracking code method.
