Assignment of Managing Organizations

When content is created, Pure will assign that piece of content a managing organization. This is usually triggered when you add the first person to the new piece of content. Additionally, Pure will only set a managing organization if there is not one already assigned. The actual assignment of these managed organizations are based on a set algorithm.

 

Please note, the below rules are for all content with managing organizations except Press/Media. On Press/Media we propagate the managing organization from the referenced contributions.

 

Pure uses an algorithm to determine the managing organisations and it is set based on the below rules:

  1. The first internal person with an internal organization which is also associated to the actual person
  2. If none was found, the first internal person with an internal organization is used
  3. If none was found the first internal organization associated to the content will be used
    1. In this scenario, Pure will use an active affiliation if the person has multiple associations
