In Pure, you can setup IP restricted access for the Pure administrator, Pure API and web service.

How

It is possible to setup this type of IP restriction, but we recommend using the existing security restriction options available. This includes:

• Web service and the Pure API can be restricted by API Keys (see below applicable documentation):
  • Web Service: Web service security settings 
  • Pure API: API keys 
• Pure Admin can be restricted by implementing SAML or other authentication methods (see below applicable documentation):
  • External authentication mechanisms 

If you do want to have IP restrictions setup for the Pure admin, API and web service this has to be done by Elsevier and requires a case to be submitted via The Pure Client Community. Please note, this can only be done for hosted clients.
