How Do Internal Person Names Appear on Research Outputs

There are a few variations on how the names of an internal person are presented on Research outputs. This is intended behaviour.

When importing a Research output from an import source, Pure uses the author name on the Research output as it is listed in the source, and the HR first name/ last name appears in parentheses.

When creating a Research output manually, however, the Default Publishing Name is used, and the HR first name/last name is presented in parentheses after the default publishing name.

Users can always change the name displayed on the Research output upon its creation, or by using the Edit functionality next to the author name on the Research output.
